LINARD Edmund Louis 4031935, 6 Bn. Royal Scots Fusiliers 24 March 1945 age 30 . Transferred at his own request from 181 F.R. Killed during the Rhine crossing. – Reichswald War Cemetery, Germany.

THERE IS NO RECORD OF HOW MANY MEN DIED AFTER THE WAR FROM SEVERE WOUNDS RECEIVED DURING THE FIGHTING, BUT DECLARED ‘DIED OF WAR WOUNDS. THESE MEN HAVE NO LASTING MEMORIAL.
